WHO I AM
Carlos A. Selmonosky M.D. FACS, FACCP, FACC, AAFP.
In 1956 I graduated from the Medical School of the University of Buenos Aires. My post graduate training was completed in the United States, Sweden, and England.
I am a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, in addition I am a Fellow of the American College of Surgery ACS, a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians ACCP, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology FACC (1989-2000), and a Life Member of the American Academy of Family Physicians AAFP.
I have published papers in peer reviewed medical and surgical journals about Cardiac and Pulmonary Diseases and the early diagnosis of Renal Failure (AKI).
I retired from active practice in 2012. At present I continue to promote the early diagnosis of Thoracic Outlet Syndrome by using the Selmonosky Diagnostic Triad. This Diagnostic Triad have been quoted in publications in more than seventeen countries.
